Hunting and feeding
In vampire the Requiem the city is not just a city it’s a hunting ground. In Shadow Chronicles the city is divided into districts, blocks and streets. Each district has a maximum number of blood points based on the population density, among many other factors. The blood pool of each district is the maximum blood point that a player and non-player character may drick from subjects during one night without consequences.
Note: If a vampire kills a mortal without feeding in a district this will in turn result in -1 blood pool point per murder. If you kill the victim and feed from him the murder is considered 1 blood point instead of several.
Hunting and the consequences
The hunting rule follows the same procedure as described in Vampire the Requiem; Feeding, p. 164. But, when hunting in a district you count your hunting grounds block size rounded down (if not a full 9 tile block) or if you hunt on someone else’s block you take there blocks in consideration. For every block over 5 you control and hunt in you gain 1+ on the dice roll on the hunt. For every block less than 5 you gain -1 die.
Hunting and feeding in a district, block or street will drain the nightly blood pools resources. This does not apply when you feed from your retainer, ghoul, herd or when you feed from stored blood sources.
Stored blood only gives one-eighth the Vitae of a similar quantity taken from a live human source.

Characters that indulge themselves the luxury of having a Herd gain free blood. In game terms; for each dot of Herd you gain 1 free blood point, not affecting the total number in the district blood pool. This applies to when you hunt or when you allow someone else to hunt on your ground were the Herd is located. Which means that you may have more than one Herd merit at the same time, for example Herd (Brothel) •, Herd (Club harem) ••. If you have an establishment you may also gain free points in the Herd merit. The roll of hunting may still be necessary in order to obtain the blood from the herd and the bonus of the Herd merit (Vampire the requiem, p 102.)

The consequences of over-feeding can be severe, but it may also go unnoticed. The more blood taken from a territory the larger and more dangerous the consequence will be. For example a character over-feed in a territory frequently with his buddies, which attracts a group of hunters, resulting in dangerous situations which may lead to a characters death. So feed with care. (For more information about over feeding se Book of Shadow Chronicle Guide p. 5.)
Sleep and rest
Sleep for vampires work a little bit diffrent from mortal sleep. A sleeping vampire look like a corps and will sleep during the day. A vampire with humanity of 7 wakes up 19.00. This is modified with 15minutes for each dot lower humanity. A kindred with a humanity of 4 whould wake up 19.45 and a humanity of 3; 20.00. The modifier is changed after humanity 3 and is modified with 30min insted. So 20.30 for humanity 2 and 21.00 for humanity 1.
Simular to mortals a vampire regain lost willpower points when sleeping uninterrupted during the day. Nightmares or uneasesleep will phorhibit regaining of willpower.
In order for a vampire to wake up one Vitae point will be spent. If there are no Vitae points avaliable the kindred will go in to torpor.
Before daybreak the beast will get tired there for also force the vampire to go to sleep. Humanity will determine the beasts time of sleep. For a kindred with a humanity of 7 whant to go to sleep 06.00 this is modified backwards with 15minute down to a maximum of 05.00.
